In 2009 BluPlanet Recycling took its first steps in making Calgary, and the planet, a more sustainable place to live. Starting with only a few multi-family properties, BluPlanet now services over 40,000 residences and hundreds of businesses in Calgary and the surrounding area.
Locally owned and operated, BluPlanet has grown into Calgary’s largest provider of custom solutions for the multi-family sector. B-Corp certified since 2011, BluPlanet focuses on a triple bottom line through community outreach programs, employee mentorship, green initiatives, and more.
BluPlanet helps divert over 8,887,619 kg of material from the landfill each year and continues to educate clients on waste reduction.
